1. Who can use TheGuildChat
Access is by approval or invitation only. You must be at least 13 years old. If you are under 18, you confirm a parent or guardian agrees to these terms. You are responsible for keeping your password and two-step sign-in safe.
2. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Post anything illegal, including content that exploits minors, threatens violence, or infringes someone's rights.
- Harass, threaten, impersonate, or spam others.
- Upload malware or try to break, overload, or get around the security controls.
- Share invitation links with people who shouldn't have them.
3. Your content
You own what you post. You give TheGuildChat only the permission needed to store and deliver it to the people you share it with. We cannot guarantee recovery of deleted messages.
4. Server admins
Server admins can manage their own server, including removing members and deleting messages. They cannot read channels they don't have access to.
5. Removal and suspension
The Platform Creator may suspend or remove any account or server that breaks these terms, or at their discretion, with or without notice. You may stop using TheGuildChat and request deletion of your account at any time through the Privacy Policy request form.
6. No warranty
TheGuildChat is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not guarantee the service will be uninterrupted or error-free. Keep your own copies of anything important.
7. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent allowed by law, TheGuildChat and its operator are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, arising from your use of the service. Total liability for any claim is limited to $0, as the service is free.
8. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state where the operator resides, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
9. Changes
We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version. Continuing to use TheGuildChat after a change means you accept it.
